17.12.2008 The M.A.C.A. works get started!!!
After many months of development, we are already working on the MACA (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Alicante – The Alicante Contemporary Art Museum). Under the guidance and managing of the prestigious architects office SANCHO-MADRIDEJOS, based in Madrid, we have started with all the tests for manufacturing the facade of this new building, which is destined to be one of the most unique buildings in the Valencian Community. For this construction, architects have thought of a complex framework consisting of extraclear glass and composite panel sustained by Inox anchorages designed for this purpose. New techniques are being applied to the pigmentation of silk screen printings both on glass and panel, in order to get the delicate “moiré” effect sought by the authors. For this purpose, our technical and design staff have devoted themselves to the task of sorting out the challenges of such a project. We would like to thank Intersa, on this occasion Intersa Levante, led by Nacho and José Ramón, for putting their trust in us in this special building work. This building promises to be spectacular, as it combines La Asegurada historical facade with the new area made of marble and glass, which faces Santa Bárbara Castle. This is a great incentive for us, and enables us to keep researching and learning from the fascinating world of singular facades. We will keep you informed.
